protecting sharks and
promoting shark conservation.

don't have to reach into your wallet to help sharks.

conservation group websites. Many of the groups have fan pages,
and or group pages you can link to on the social websites. Join one or
all of the groups and sign-up for free newsletters. The
newsletters are super informative and typically include detailed
information about conservation projects.
In addition to the social networking
sites, do your own research. Google "shark conservation" and find out
what you have been missing. Learn more about the real cost of
shark fin soup and let your own friends know that tens of millions of
sharks are killed each year just for soup.

There are several on-line petitions designed to protect sharks
and promote shark conservation, here are just a few.

you CAN reach into your wallet, there is a variety of ways to help out,
ranging from an awareness bracelet to an unlimited monetary donation to
a shark conservation group. If you're looking for a tax deductable
donation be sure your contribution goes to an I.R.S. approved 501(c)(3)
group. We've listed a few options for
monetary contributions below and suggest you do your research as the
number of ways to help grows month after month. We've ranked purchases
based on cash, the more dollar signs the higher the anticipated
donation.
