Sharks - Resource Greatly Misused

Nearly 100 million sharks are slaughtered every year in the name of soup. Shark fin soup only uses shark fins!  "Fishermen" harvesting sharks for fins slice the fins off live sharks and dump those sharks back into the water to drown.  Over 98 percent of a shark is wasted via this process.

Shark populations are in vast decline around the world.  The declines in shark populations are slowly creating a vacuum in the ocean's eco systems.  Change in the ocean's eco systems will echo in earth's greater eco systems, which will have a lasting impact on the human population.

Earth maintains a delicate balance as global warming has proved, if we fail earth, we fail ourselves, and in turn future generations. Help end the wanton destruction of one of earth's most majestic predators, sharks, by boycotting shark products such as shark fin soup.
